NIKE LILILEI SILNA

Contemporary visual artist Nike Silná, stage name Lililei, was born in 1978 in the Czech Republic. University studies of multimedia and philosophy and her interest in the freedom of the human spirit connected her with art.

It also directed her to the international cooperation with the Van Gogh Art Gallery in Madrid, as well as to the participation in the International Contemporary Art Fair in Luxembourg in September 2021. She is now expanding her representation in the USA. She perceives the current world’s art scene as accessible and universal, and she is open to sharing the cultural wealth with artists from all over the world.

Rather than just a work of art or a statement itself, it is an essential experience of the viewers that is important to her. She likes open discussions about art, both with artists and the general public. She sees the application of art in all areas of life, and she likes to connect it with other areas and fields of human activity.

She believes that art can complete the soul and the atmosphere of the home, heal the psyche, create the cultural background of companies and institutions, inspire science and technology, and offer ecological solutions. In this context, Lililei developed an author's technique Light Painting, which, in addition to free experimentation, she can combine it with other techniques focused on self-knowledge and relaxation.

Most of all, she prefers an intimate creative process and group art projects with an interesting theme. Lililei has an open mind, and she believes that all boundaries can be crossed for the right reason
