Growing up in the USA means being raised on glamorized love. Most of our concepts of love and relationships are shaped by mass media. Romantic comedies, dramatic thrillers, and epic quests–all scripted a carefully rehearsed, acted, and captured on film and video for our entertainment. While we romanticize the idealization of love, it’s important that we find our own authentic love with someone that can sustain our spirit in a way that’s unscripted and true.
