William Braemer

William’s artwork is the result of an amazing life experience and a personality that hungers for rich, character-defining adventures. William’s artwork can be defined as abstract expressionism; notably flavored with valiant colors, rich strokes and provocative themes. From the Caribbean flavored abstract paintings to the ornately crafted sculptures, William’s artwork appeals to a wide cross-section of collectors. As a young man, William was educated in New York and upon graduation, apprenticed in Europe during the 1980’s. While living in Florence, Italy, he was inspired by the city’s rich artistic history and its’ deep-rooted culture. It was this moment in time of William’s life which inspired him to pursue his passion for art; thus, beginning a life-long journey steeped in a love for self-expression.

Artist Statement
“My intense passion and extreme love of life is the foundation of my creativity. Elation, contentment and ultimate satisfaction are the feelings I experience when reaching the completion of one of my pieces, thus granting me the drive and ambition to begin creating a new body of work. I like to define my artistic style as abstract in nature coupled with an expressionist quality.
My interpretation of a subject matter is
transformed into rich, vibrant bold colors
– timeless, awakening the soul, uplifting and radiant. My use of color evokes many moods; each piece I create is a moment in my life and therefore reflects that period of time – my art is the reflection of my eyes looking into my soul.”

Axel Lefrancais

In 2012, Axel LEFRANCAIS began his activity as a sculptor. Self-taught and passionate about art since always, he is inspired by what surrounds him: fashion, news, street art, etc...
This versatile artist works with materials such as resin, aluminum and plexiglass.

I am fighting for people to accept the idea that this is an aesthetic, magnificent object, sadly intended for war. My mission is to make grenades unnecessary, turning them into works of art. My biggest model so far is two metres tall, and right now I am working on a 4-metre mold. I also have my real-size “grenadines”, experimenting with a number of different paints and plasters, big and small. Every grenade is unique.

Glenda Hecksher

My name is Glenda Hecksher. I am Mexican. I represent in my sculptures either beautiful things such as maternal love, love and eroticism, respect for our environment; or, as I believe artists must be aware and concerned about the world they live in, I have made a wide series of sculptures about war and peace. One sculpture of mine was adopted as the symbol of the Peace Messenger Cities Association.

One of my talents is making portraits. I also have made a series with a mixture of Pre Columbian and Occidental elements. I develop commissions and other kind of ideas in bronze, silver, gold, resin, glass, ceramic; marbles, granites, onyxes, quartzes and fiber glass. Their dimensions vary from miniatures, to several meters high. I also do trophies tokens and awards.

My creative activity has given me the opportunity to meet presidents, governors and politicians of my country, as well as first level artists, writers, musicians and all kind of interesting and sensitive people around the world.

I am invited frequently in Mexico and abroad to give lectures and present exhibitions in universities, museums, colleges or different forums and venues. I like to work with altruist and interesting movements. And I have been fortunate to receive awards for doing what I like the most.

I am glad now to be part of Art Fusion Galleries.

Joshua Wingerter

“Let’s just do it man, see what happens.”

This is the philosophy of Josh Wingerter, self-made artist and entrepreneur from Westwego, Louisiana, a small town right outside of New Orleans. Josh’s early roots in his artistic process started while he was working in artist Keith Eccles’s studio, who Josh credits as a huge influence on his artwork. Despite the lack of professional training or schooling in the arts, Josh managed to wow Eccles with his work. A customer stopped by the studio one day and noticed Josh’s work. Eccles introduced them to one another and commented, “If he wasn’t so lazy, he’d be a great artist.” This is when Josh had to ask himself—is that true? Should he be challenging himself more?

This sparked the motivation needed to take Josh’s competitive nature into higher gear. His drive to create both noticeable and significant work took him to the Frenchmen Street Art Market in New Orleans. This is when his artwork started gaining more notice, particularly for the unique mediums utilized. One recognizable feature is the use of newspaper backgrounds. Josh believes we are currently in age of the last generation of the printing press, and to immortalize such a long-cherished means of communication in his work preserves its memory. Much of his work contains colorful images that pay homage to legendary people. He appreciates the New Orleans culture that he was born into. His work does feature some of the local flair, but he rather constantly expose himself to “new information in order to always be inspired.” Josh likes to stay stimulated, garnering inspiration from a variety of sources, from the tellings of philosopher Alan Watts, matters in social activism, to books, movies, and all genres of music. He claims that his art themes come to him in waves, and he lets the art define him and tell him where to go.

Overall, Josh feels extremely fortunate about what his art has done for him in life. He believes he doesn’t have the right to feel upset about anything because he is so lucky to have this “dream job” that allows him to spend time with his son. Just 3 months before his son’s birth, Josh quit his full-time job to pursue a career in artistry. His son and art are his ultimate focal points in life, and he believes he owes it to both his son and career to “go all in.” Josh strives to defy the odds—an artist from a small town who wants to prove that art is “more than a hobby.” It can truly provide career opportunities. “You’re going to get out of it what you put into it.”

Lenore Robins

The art world can often seem puzzling and intimidating. Lenore Diamond Robins’ art world is often a puzzle, quite literally. Through her art, she attempts to “solve” the puzzle by creating art which is readily accessible to the viewer. Her work has been described as, “Pop Art which really pops!”

Lenore works in six basic design styles: Geometrics, Puzzles, Fish, Flowers, Just Having Fun and Black & White color studies. All of her styles evolved from the use of basic geometric shapes, some of which are placed at varying heights or angles to create dimensionality and a sense of motion. Her art is distinctive and immediately identifiable.

Each of her unique works of art are wood based. The wood is cut and fully sealed. Each piece receives multiple coats of acrylic paints to obtain the depth of color Lenore requires for her bold, three dimensional art. She uses a high gloss resin to final coat most of her artworks. This is a technically challenging, very beautiful, hand-mixed and hand-poured finish which requires years of experience to properly master. Some variation in the final result is natural.

Lenore began creating art for her own home in 1988. Today, in addition to her long term representation at Art Fusion Galleries, she exhibits her art in galleries in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts and New York City, NY. Her artwork has been purchased by private collectors from across the country and around the world; art which now hangs in private homes of collectors from Austria, England, France, Spain, Switzerland, The Czech Republic, as well as the US and Canada. Her art was shown at an invitation only juried art exhibition in Nashville, TN. Lenore served for three years as President of The Artists’ Guild of the Boca Raton Museum of Art, a very prestigious auxiliary of over 300 artists and art lovers.

Lenore’s art is designed to be hung without additional framing, or if she feels a frame is needed to complete the design, she incorporates the frame as part of the artwork. Her collectors invest in original art, not in commercial framing.

Richard Orlinski

Richard Orlinski has been the best-selling French contemporary artist in the world since 2015. He began his artistic career in 2004, and created his first work, a crocodile in bright red resin, which quickly became an iconic piece of the sculptor’s bestiary.

The artist takes his inspiration from pop-culture, everyday objects and the popular. Richard Orlinski quickly developed new sculptures, often animals, all symbols of freedom, power and passion. The result is a series of powerful works, with pop colors and a faceted style that will travel the world.

Very quickly, exhibiting his often spectacularly large works in unusual and open-air locations became his trademark. Driven by the desire to democratize art and make it accessible to as many people as possible, Richard Orlinski is interested in all means of expression and his art knows no boundaries.

Gonzalo Borges

He started to draw at a very early age, inspired by his reading of Africa's classically based mythical tales of the Yoruba religion. At age 12, he took his lesson in oil, painting popular and folklore themes from Cuba.

In 1954 he participated in his exhibition at National School of Fine School of Fine Arts de San Alejandro, a tradition for young Cuban painters, becoming first prize award winner.

Borges apprenticed for many years as a ceiling muralist in many of the cathedrals in Cuba, under the watchful tutelage of Vicente Clemade a famous master of Al Fresco paint, enabled him to acquire the talents which he uses today to express his vision.

Drawing upon this experience and other techniques he has developed his own unique style of painting. The paintings he exhibit demonstrate Borges' innovative use of circumference and distortion as well as of line and color, this extremely talented artist's paintings are exceptionally beautiful and through the years they have found their way to various private collections in Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Soviet Union, Spain, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, and the United States.
