Alex Noir

Alex Noir is a Miami based American Mixed Media Artist, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1969.

Raised in a home that nurtured and encouraged his innate artistic abilities, at age 10 he started drawing and painting lessons with a private tutor.

Later he went on to work on literature, photography and music, scoring an indie film and a documentary.

In 2001 he moved to the U.S. and as destiny would have in 2019, as the pandemic took hold of the nation, he started doodling again but this time on a digital format.

He quickly realized that going back to basics was needed so he taught himself the one technique he didn’t know, the unforgiving watercolor medium. Mixed media came as a complement of his ever-growing passion for sharing his artistic vision and pouring his soul with every stroke of the brush.

Home is the constant and ever-present subject of his paintings. Home, the place he holds dear in his heart, the place where life begins and lessons are learned, where family is the refuge for heartaches, the shoulder to cry and the cradle of everlasting love.

His paintings of whimsical, colorful yet faithful to the architectural style, homes take the viewer on a journey of passionate and warm memories surrounded by beds of aromatic  flowers and the shade of trees.

His keen eye for color palettes and fine detail, invites us to dream of the abundance of possibilities.

His first show was during the Miami Art Week of 2024.

He’s been a featured artist at the Thrive Art District, Fort Lauderdale, since December 2024.

In May 2025 he was signed for representation with Art Fusion Galleries in Oakland Park.
